Moview Review : Uptown Girls

Aaaaarrgghh I missed my class today.. over slept.. gosh terrible of me. I suppose to send my homework today. So due to my over slept, I do not manage to send it during the class. I've email my lecturer, he say send it through email. Wow Im safe for the day.

Now here I am, at home, in my room... doing nothing actually. Oh yea im fasting (puasa for muslim during ramadhan) today. I got to finish the slides for Data Communication and Networks tomorrow presentation. Then i will have my numerical method and logical test on friday.

I was watching this movie called Uptown girls before blogging. So here is the review :)

Movie : Uptown Girls

My comment (s) : Great movie recommend it to anyone that loves chick-flicks. It is so touching and just a sweet story line. Involde family matter, friendship, and lover. Strong characters and funny too. This movie show alot of true things happening in this real world. Where, love can ever fade away from each person. So watch it people!

Movie Detail: Comedy 1 hr. 34 min.Molly Gunn (Murphy) is the freewheeling daughter of a late rock legend and the toast of the Manhattan social scene, but when her inheritance is stolen, Molly is forced to do something she's never done before - get a job. She becomes nanny to precocious Ray Schleine (Fanning), an "eight-year-old going on forty." Emotionally distant from her A&R executive mother Roma (Locklear), Ray has grown up with a revolving door of nannies and too little stability. Molly and Ray both feel painfully alone in the world, but as they try to make their new arrangement work, each discovers in the other a true friend.

Movie Review . . .

Movie that i recently watched :-

Movie 1 - My Big Fat Greek Wedding

My comments: Wow wow wow, this is actually "old movie"... But i just watched it recently. Refered to Yahoo, its year 2002. Pity me, i dont know anything about this. These one is really funny, make you cant stop laugh LOL LOL LOL... The movie is kinda fast, from ugly virgin women age 30 year old to a pretty virgin women. Then found her soulmate, who is not GREEK! So watch it, you will find out how they solve this problem.

Movie detail:
Romance and Comedy 1 hr. 35 min.Everyone in the Portokalos family worries about Toula (NIA VARDALOS). Still unmarried at 30-years-old, she works at Dancing Zorba�s, the Greek restaurant owned by her parents, Gus (MICHAEL CONSTANTINE) and Maria (LAINIE KAZAN) and smells like garlic bread. Vowing that she�d rather stab herself in the eye with a red-hot poker than work in the restaurant for the rest of her life, Toula is ready for a change. Unfortunately, the rest of her family is not. After taking a job at her aunt�s travel agency, she falls in love with Ian Miller (JOHN CORBETT), a high school teacher who is tall, handsome and definitely not Greek. Toula isn�t sure which will be more upsetting to her old-fashioned father, that Ian is a Xeno (foreigner) or that he�s a vegetarian. But none of it matters once he asks her to marry him. Toula knows that if he can pass muster with her crazy relatives and get baptized in the Greek Orthodox Church...their big fat Greek wedding, including one powder blue limousine, two ice sculptures and ten bridesmaids in turquoise dresses, will be a piece of cake, five layers high with a plastic staircase and a fountain of champagne.

Movie 2 - House Of Dead

My comments: Dont be fool if you see the poster above. I know you will say " Gosh this must be scary " like what i did. This movie is too much... too much of BORING STUFF... its like watching a cartoon. Perhaps i rather watch Scary Movie instead. Don't waste your time watching this movie, and don't waste your money to buy original CD or DVD. I would love if you want to borrow it for me. Guess, its just a waste.

Movie detail:
Thriller, Suspense/Horror, Action/Adventure, Suspense/Horror, Thriller and Action/Adventure
1 hr. 30 min. On a remote island in the Straight of Juan de Fuca, the mother of all raves is taking place. Planning to join their friends at the party, a group of young people charter a boat from an apprehensive sea captain and set out for the long weekend of their lives. But when the group reaches shore, they find that local legends surrounding the "Isla del Morte" are terrifyingly real and an unspeakable evil has been anticipating their arrival. My Rating Stars: no stars sorry - improved the movie first, so it suit the poster.

Bronze for my website :)

Its friday... Uhmm having Deepavali holiday. Its really hot today.

My streamyx broadband internet connection was down this morning, also the tmnet 1515 connection was down. Really frustrated, nothing to do, just watch tv while doing my programming c++ assignment, which gonna due next monday :( Well, the internet connection up again around 3:45pm. And now here I am, blogging =p

Chatted with my dad just now in MSN Messenger, he's in Miri . . Miss him a lot, we have been communicated through email and msn messenger.

Where am I ?

Hi guys...

It has been a long time I didnt write anything on my blog. Its empty for awhile, I believe. Im actually lost after my last entry. Lost my mind. I was like a stupid guy sitting infront the computer, and start downloading nonsense software, and also mp3s. Yaiks...

I guess I've spend too much time sitting infront my laptop, and the chair hot, and I hope I do not make my laptop bored of looking at my face over and over again :)

I actually been busy creating a new website for a fashion business. Its a Malay Costumes Fashion Shop, for muslim, and open for non muslim aswell, who wish to use any malay costumers. It is more to Jubah, Tudung, and women stuff. Malay male costumes will be there soon, I think :) So Lisa - I think you should get one baju melayu for Vish this coming Aidilfitri :) And ask him to Puasa aswell :p
Uhmm been thinking aswell, Puasa is coming soon. Its really fast, I just feel like puasa just end yesterday,and we're going to start it again. So friends, come over to my house in MIRI and lets gather :) Must be really fun to see all of the Curtin's people again :) Miss you all alot man!

So yes, I am building up another website. The shop name is - "IMAN", it's under the "LARA" company. It is actually belonging to two of my adopted brother - Izwan and Rokbi (who is the manager of the company). It is a good business for sure, and yet - it is in KL, got lots of competitors around here. I believe they can make it successfully.

Well, classes gonna start again tomorrow. And the kewl part is, im gonna have only 3 days classes!! Hoorrraaayyyy!!! Its holiday for Thursday and Friday - due to DEPAVALI. Happy Depavali to all indians in Malaysia and where ever you are, and happy holidays for all friends :)
Again - Lisa, if Vish celebrating Depavali, send my regard and happy depavali wish to him :)

One assignment due tomorrow actually, before 5pm ... how to say ... i'm not ready for it, DUH!

I guess, I have to stop writing now. My streamyx broadband internet connection say, i have been online for 8 hours - but actually im sitting here only for the past 2 hours :)

This is abit delay, I dont have enough time for blogging session on saturday and sunday. So im writing about it on monday =p

Monday (13/10/2003)

Well today... uhmm i took taxi to college, spend RM18, i dont know why the taxi driver took the long way, and i have to pay more! *&^&*&!

I'm blur actually when it come for classes. Having Data Communication and Networking Test today. It was alright (all i can say). Then numerical method and system analysis class. Was boring! :(

Class finished at 5pm, and another problem, the bus came late.. its very hot aswell.
And now im at home, writing this blog... wanna share my weekend with friends out there :)

Still tired actually - after a FUN weekend... read about it, and you know what i meant =p

Sunday (12/10/2003)

Me and Elzy woke up around 10am, then we spend at home until 3pm. Was playing Warcraft games with him. Nice war thought. Then we decided to visit the 2nd largest / biggest shopping mall in Asia which is the new TIMES SQUARE, located at Bukit Jalil, not far from Sungei Wang and Pudu Jail :)

The best part about this mall is, there's a huge THEME PARK in it, with roller coaster and everything fun! Bowling, cinema, food court. If im not mistaken, there's 14th floor for shopping mall. Just imagine how huge it is. Even got 2 Starbucks in it.

Saturday (11/10/2003)

I woke up around 9am on saturday. My college having Sport Carnival and Family Day at Family Park Bukit Jalil. Arrived at the Family Park with my adopted sister around 10am. It was really hot that morning. And we're having Sport Carnival. Everybody was complaining on it. The stalls that selling drinks was very happy, because everybody is like out and in to buy drinks on a hot day.
Me - myself, was busy with my work. Im handling the "prizes" part. Got lots of special prizes to be won. The best is for grand prize lucky draw, FREE TICKETS TO PULAU PINANG (Penang Island in West Malaysia)! Such a great place for vacation, shopping, and relaxing. Im so jelous, I didnt won that grand prize. *grin*

My brother came by around 3pm, where the carnival was almost finished. Less people by that time, because all the sports at that time is only for final stages. And yes, it was hot, so nobody can stand the wheather. I went out from the Family Park at 4:30pm, and asked the other members that controlled prizes part to handled the final session. I got headache that afternoon. Prety bad too.

Was really happy that afternoon, I'm gonna meet my BESTFRIEND - ELZY at Bukit Jalil Station. We didnt meet each other for like 2 1/2 months. Although both studying in the same place =p weird huh.. when you are in big city, you will start to do your on stuff. Believe me, its true for most of outsider who is studying or working in KL City. He's doing final year in Diploma Interior Design at University Institute Technology MARA, Shah Alam, Selangor. He slept over at my place that night. We watched the "Anugerah ERA 2003" that night together. Cool show :)
